BaseLine Aviation Services are recruiting a Director of Product Line to join our customer on a direct hire basis in Miami, FL.

Summary:

The Director of Product Line is responsible for leading our customers technical operations and ensuring the highest standard of product quality and customer support. This leadership role will oversee product line, technical records, repairs and ensure inventory investment and sales meet projected performance.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Oversee review process for all asset acquisitions.
  • Oversee the technical assessment and approval process for aircraft/engines and parts, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Track asset investment performance.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify product opportunities, customer needs and competitive landscape.
  • Liase with OEMs, MROs, Airlines and other traders/suppliers to ensure customer has a sustainable supply chain network.
  • Evaluate assets and parts packages to assess their value and fit with the customer business plan.
  • Oversee company requirements for technical records and ensure BTB records are available and clear of any paperwork issues and are loaded into the ERP system.
  • Collaborate with MROs and repair teams to establish contracts to minimize cost over time.
  • Oversee the repairs team to establish repair pipeline of parts and assets and manage inventory levels.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess inventory costs.
  • Work closely with Sales team to implement business sales strategies and provide technical assistance.
  • Program management and support to exclusive long-term agreements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Required Eduacation/Experience:

  • Degree in Engineering, Aviation Management or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in sales leadership roles within the aviation sector with a focus on USM distribution and asset management.
  • FAA A&P or EASA AML is preferred but not required.
  • Markey Analysis skills.
  • Sales Process acumen.
  • Business and Financial acumen.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Proficient understanding of AC 00-56 and ASA-100 requirements.
  • Proficient with Avsight (or similar) and MS Office Products.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
